Frequently asked questions.
Helpful answers about your project, our team, rental property care, and the community purpose behind our work.
Estimates & planning
How do I request an estimate?
Use our Contact Us form, email info@thepoweredupteam.com, or call 303-214-8640. Share your contact details, city, property type, and a short description of the work. Selecting a job from a city service page fills in those service details for you.
What information should I include?
Tell us your name, the best way to reach you, the city and property type, and what needs attention. Include the jobs on your list, any relevant details about the problem, and your preferred timing.
Can you help with more than one job?
Yes. Include your full project list in the contact form. Our in-house team can review the work together and discuss the scope, priorities, and scheduling with you.
Do you charge trip or service fees?
No. Power Up Services does not charge trip or service fees. We discuss the requested work and pricing with you so you can make an informed decision.
How do you explain the price?
Transparent pricing starts with a clear scope. We explain the proposed work and estimate before you decide to move forward. If the scope changes, we discuss the change and its effect on pricing with you.
How do I arrange a visit?
Start with the Contact Us form and tell us your preferred timing. We will review the work with you and confirm availability and scheduling. An inquiry by itself does not reserve an appointment.

Airbnb property care
What can a full property turnover include?
A customized turnover plan can include same-day cleaning between guests, laundry and linen resets, inventory checks, restocking essentials, hospitality preparation, minor repairs, and property inspections. We agree on the work around your property and booking schedule. Explore our Airbnb services.
Can handyman inspections happen during a turnover?
Yes. Cleaning and a handyman inspection can be planned together. An inspection can identify damaged fixtures, maintenance needs, guest-related damage, normal wear, safety concerns, and preventive maintenance opportunities.
How does between-stay photo documentation help?
Photographs record the condition of your property between guest stays. They help you compare changes, monitor the property from a distance, and support legitimate damage claims. Photos document condition; they do not automatically establish guest liability.
What preventive maintenance can be included?
Depending on the property and agreed scope, examples include HVAC filter changes, smoke detector inspections, gutter cleaning, seasonal sprinkler blowouts, appliance inspections, minor repairs, and routine property checks.
How much do Airbnb property care plans cost?
Customized packages start at $400 per month. The final plan and price depend on property size, booking frequency, guest volume, services, inspection needs, and emergency coverage. The starting price does not include every service or unlimited visits. Contact us for a customized package.
How does 24/7 emergency on-call support work?
Emergency on-call coverage is arranged as part of an agreed property care plan. Together, we decide whether guests contact our team or the property manager first, what counts as an emergency, which work needs approval, and who can authorize it. Non-emergency requests can be documented for regular business hours. For an immediate threat to life or safety, call 911 first.
Our company & community
When and why did Power Up Services begin?
Power Up Services began in 2004 with small Craigslist jobs and gig-work opportunities. The purpose from the outset was to earn income to fund the Empowerment Project. Honest work, repeat customers, referrals, and long-term relationships helped the business grow.
What is the Empowerment Project?
The Empowerment Project began with technology access and education: refurbished computers, computer repairs, technology education, help for parents navigating online school systems, and digital access for children and families. As Power Up Services grew, that support expanded to accessibility ramps, yard cleanup, overgrown landscaping removal, home-safety improvements, and home maintenance for people with limited means.
Do you still provide free community help?
Yes. We still provide free handyman services to older adults, people with disabilities, and people with limited means through our community work. Contact us and explain the situation so we can discuss what assistance may be possible. The work we can offer depends on the needs, scope, and availability.
Is The Powered Up Team the same company?
Power Up Services remains our company name. The Powered Up Team is our website and marketing identity, reflecting investment in training, certifications, improved systems, and expanded capabilities. Read more about our history and community roots.
